Epilepsy Challenge 100

My Story

I have lived with epilepsy for more than 15 years which can be a life long debilitating and generally misunderstood condition. Many little seizures are common everyday. Whilst prescribed drugs do help, they also have adverse side effects.

I have therefore chosen to take on Epilepsy Society's Challenge 100 - committing to completing 100 miles in 47 days! The purpose of this challenge is to help raise awareness about epilepsy, support research and treatment for people living with epilepsy! 💜

The reality is 1 in 100 people in the UK are living with epilepsy. Three people are diagnosed with epilepsy every day and a third of people with epilepsy do not have access to effective treatments.

I would be so grateful if you would be able to join me in this brilliant charity and support me with the Challenge 100. 💜🚑💊🌈🌸
